Thanks for the link to SVMoms - I'm one of 25 or so xontributors & I offered to write the recent series on emergency preparedness - we're trying to get the word out. The list I compiled is incredibly long and I don't think every family necessarily needs everything on it, but I also tried to emphasize that there's more to planning than just having supplies ready - organizing it all, an evac plan and preparing drills are part of it too.
