1. Speaking of SAF, Red Crosser Virginia Wright-Peterson is currently in Iraq as part of an SAF team. She’s keeping a remarkably fascinating chronicle of her time there on her blog, On Deployment Now.

2. Many chapters are adopting social media by starting blogs of their own. Keep an eye on our blogroll (right hand column) to keep track of them and their new media ways.

3. Speaking of cheering up, we’ve started a Good News Blog. This used to be an internal email distributed on Friday mornings, but now it’s updated regularly with good stories from the organization for all to see.
