Puppy Dogs at Walter Reed

Winter Blues

Do you have the winter blues? “They” say this is the most depressing time of the year.

I think a good remedy for the blues is a dose of perspective. Today, I was jolted with just such a spoonful of medicine when I saw this clip about recovering soldiers at Walter Reed on CNN.

When you click through you’ll see Red Cross volunteers and their PAL trained dogs hanging out with the soldiers.

This cheerful brigade is part of the Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces (SAF).

If you like cute animals and need even more cheering up, I recommend perusing our Got Pets? Flickr pool or heading straight to Cute Overload to relieve your winter doldrums.
