Measuring Success: The California Wildfires

February 5th, 2008 · 1 Comment

The American Red Cross

The part of the blogosphere that discusses philanthropy has been focusing on something called impact analysis lately.

That is, they’ve been asking the collective nonprofit community how we measure our success and in turn how we demonstrate that success to donors and potential donors.

Here at the Red Cross, we’re diligently examining the question and hope to be able to highlight more of our impact analysis data in the future.

As an effort in that direction, we’d like to share with you an 8 page report we created called Partnering for Relief, the American Red Cross Response to the 2007 Southern California Wildfires, which details the biggest disaster response we’ve undertaken since Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

You’ll find links to the report, the above video, web banners, and 6 photo essays on the Partnering for Relief page of redcross.org.
