We’re making progress

Thank you.  

  • We estimate that responding to the recent flooding in 8 states will cost at least $15 million and could go much higher depending on the levees along the mighty Mississippi.
  • Last week we told the world that the Disaster Relief Fund is running on empty.
  • You answered the call and you’ve pledged about $8 million so far.

Good work everyone! Let’s keep it up! Here are some numbers to motivate you:

  • $25 provides 5 blankets at an emergency shelter
  • $350 will provide emergency food and shelter for 25 disaster victims for one day
