The Safe and Well website allows those directly affected by a disaster to let their loved ones know of their well-being. We are encouraging people who may be affected by Gustav to register as they evacuate safely.
If you have one call to make before you leave home, call someone you love and tell them you are safe. Then, ask them to register you on Safe and Well.
If you do not have internet access (then you can’t read this, but write it down now in case), call 1-800-RED-CROSS to register yourself and your family. Follow the prompts for disaster information.

I was a firefighter and elec.(lineman) in Vinton La. when Rita came through.We in Vinton helped many.Im now asking for help to be able to have a place for me and my family to stay.We are now staying at Days Inn in SanMarcas Tx. and have little money. PLEASE HELP US. Thank You Very Much
