It’s a project that Wii Nintendo is doing to help out victims of various disasters. It started out as a smaller project started by Charmy entitled “Ike’ll Get No Sympathy From Us”, with a focus on helping victims of Hurricane Ike. We asked people to submit videos of Super Smash Bros. Brawl where the character Ike loses, as a representation of us fighting Hurricane Ike and “defeating” it. Since then, the American Red Cross has contacted us to show their support for this project and we have expanded our project to include all disasters in America. We will be hosting many events to try and raise funds in the future, and we’ll even have prizes to give away. We are gathering donations, which can be given directly to the American Red Cross’s Disaster Relief Fund by donating at http://american.redcross.org/wii. For full details, check out the post here.
