Dan Doofus – If He Can Prevent Home Fires, Anyone Can

NFPA Dan Doofus
We’ve been beating the fire prevention drum all week. Since it’s Friday, let’s sit back and watch some cartoons instead. Doofus cartoons!

From Lorraine at the NFPA

There are many other things you can do to prevent home fires. You might not think it sounds easy, but it can sometimes be as simple as identifying home hazards and taking steps to correct them before a fire has the chance to begin. Still think it’s difficult? If NFPA’s new cartoon character Dan Doofus can learn how to prevent home fires, anyone can. Don’t let this daft character fool you; he’s a quick study when it comes to turning his fire-hazard ways into fire-safe situations. Watch videos of Dan and learn from his mistakes as he works with a checklist to identify home fire-safety hazards and tackle other risks associated with home fires.

How far along the checklist are you?
