Red Cross, North Carolina: A Geographical Discovery

Red Cross Town

Just outside of Charlotte, NC, a small town by the name of Red Cross is bustling and growing.

There’s nary a mention of it on Wikipedia, but it’s been there since 2002. We have a call into their town council to find out how they came to be named.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to tell us what you know about this town and to pretty please send us some photos!

The nearest Red Cross chapter to Red Cross is Stanley County. Wouldn’t it have been something to name it the Red Cross Chapter of the American Red Cross?
