Thailand: Part 3 of My SE Asian Adventure

I have visited Sri Lanka and the Maldives so far on this journey to document the impact the American Red Cross (through your kind donations) has had in communities affected by the 2004 tsunami.

Here’s the third and final installment of my journey taken in Phuket, Thailand.

I am exhausted but so grateful for this experience – I hope we were able to shed some light on how we’ve used your donations to help these communities. Did you know you helped rebuild an entire island in the Maldives? That you have provided clean water? That you have rebuilt homes and businesses?

  2. Sawadee Khrab! I’m about to go to Phuket and I’m very excited about it. Already got the flight to Suvamabhumi Airport and from there I’ll go explore around Bangkok and of course Phuket, I saw your nice blog on Yahoo and it seems that you know a lot about Phuket City. Would you kindly give me a hint where to stay in Phuket Island? I’ve heard there are some good hotels in the main town and in the southeast… Thank you in advance!
