Virtual Trip to the Newseum: Our World At War
Posted on August 14th, 2009 by Wendy Harman
Can’t make it to the Newseum in Washington, DC to see the “Our World At War” exhibit? You can see a beautiful sample of the photographs on the Newseum’s website:
The International Committee of the Red Cross sent five award-winning photojournalists to eight war-torn and ravaged countries to document how war and armed violence have affected people’s lives. The result of their work is featured in the new exhibit “Our World at War: Photojournalism Beyond the Front Lines.” The exhibit of 40 photos will be on display at the Newseum until Sept. 7, 2009.
