As September comes to a close, so does National Preparedness Month.

To commemorate a successful month and to provide vision to continuing preparedness efforts, we’re hosting an event at our National Headquarters today! And it will be streamed live! Is your computer ready for all of this live preparedness goodness?

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano will deliver a speech at 2 pm ET. from Red Cross Square. She will be joined by FEMA Administrator Craig Fugate.

An introduction by our own President and CEO Gail McGovern will kick off the event.
