  1. I was planning to vacation in Vina del Mar next week (8 Mar 2010). Should I go and help clean up, or just stay out of the way? If I go, who can I contact to help?

  2. Do not go anywhere to help in a crisis unless you are part of a well kown organized group that has done rescue work before. There are many unknowns, in each situation and working with an organiztion helps to really get things done in the proper manner. Join the Red Cross, or area rescue organization to get the right training.
There were different degrees of disaster between the Haiti crisis and the one now in Chile because of the stricter building codes in Chile. Not as many people were killed.

  3. What about Text To Help to the Chilean Victims? Why is it not available?
