We look forward to the holidays as a time of year to be with friends and family. As part of our Giving Tuesday tradition, we’d love to introduce you to some of the folks we’ve had the pleasure to work with over the past year, and some that we’ve had the honor to help. We think of them as part of our Red Cross family.

Tomorrow, our social media accounts will highlight some of our most heartwarming stories as we take a virtual road trip across the country. Join us to see how our support starts at home, in your community, with wonderful people like you who volunteer to help their neighbors in times of need. The Red Cross responds to nearly 66,000 disasters every year, both large and small—from a fire in someone’s home to larger emergencies like wildfires and flooding.

Please visit us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat to peruse some of our stories and get to know our friends. We’d also love for you to shout out your hometown in the comments section of this post! Our warmest wishes to you this holiday season.
