Thursday, June 24 – At the Twilight Saga: Eclipse Los Angeles Premiere cast member Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen) strutted the “black” carpet wearing an American Red Cross pin on the sleeve of his Dolce & Gabbana suit.
Kellan’s support of the Red Cross coincides with Twilight Saga Author Stephanie Meyer’s announcement that one dollar of every book purchased of her new novella The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner will be donated to the American Red Cross for the relief efforts in Haiti and Chile and other parts of the world.
During the livestream broadcast of the premiere on E!Online, Kellan stated “Red Cross, Red Cross, Support It.”
By wearing the pin he reminds people that the Red Cross is there to assist when there is a disaster down the street, across the country and around the world.
