We’ve received an incredible amount of support from the public following the devastating earthquake in Japan and ensuing Pacific tsunami last Friday. We’ve also noticed that there is some confusion about how the American Red Cross works to provide aid in a situation like this.
Last night, a series of major earthquakes struck off the coast of Japan. One of these earthquakes measured 8.9 in magnitude, according to the USGS. Tsunami warnings, advisories, and watches are in effect for many areas of the world, including Hawaii and coastal areas of California, Alaska, and Washington.
