- Tropical Storm Debby has caused severe flooding and tornadoes in Florida and will affect parts of the South this week. Latest predictions and warnings are available from NOAA.
- The Wood Hollow Fire caused evacuations in Sanpete County, Utah on Sunday 6/25. The local Red Cross chapter is responding.
- Several wildfires threaten areas in Colorado. The Weber and Waldo Canyon Fires have burned thousands of acres in Montezuma and El Paso Counties. Meanwhile, the High Park Fire response is still ongoing. Red Crossers are operating shelters, providing food and comfort kits, and keeping residents informed of the situation. According to The Weather Channel, “Colorado is having its worst wildfire season in a decade”.
- Wildfires also hit Maryland over the weekend, where a seven-alarm brush fire in Queen Anne’s County destroyed dozens of acres and caused evacuations.
