INDONESIA: The Indonesian Red Cross is currently responding to a 7.2 magnitude earthquakethat struck off the coast of Aceh less than 24 hours ago. For updates follow them on twitter and facebook.
MEXICO/UNITED STATES: The Mexican Red Cross and American Red Cross both responded to the Easter Sunday Earthquake that occurred near the border, evacuating seniors and hospital patients, assessing damage and assisting the injured.
ARMENIA/AZERBAIJAN: Acting as a neutral intermediary, the ICRC facilitated the repatriation of one Azerbaijani soldier and the bodies of two civilians over the weekend.
NIGER/MALI: The ICRC is launching extensive assistance programs (including things like food aid, seeds, tools, livestock, livelihood training) for more than 100,000 people affected by adverse weather conditions and violence in northern Niger and Mali.
SERBIA: Lastly, in a little bit of lighthearted (but still highly useful) news, British Red Cross volunteers are teaming up with the Red Cross of Serbia to train for the European First Aid Competition.
