Yesterday, I was fortunate enough to visit the Red Cross SAF Call Center. SAF stands for “Service to the Armed Forces,” and the SAF Call Center is a place where the soldiers and their families can call the Red Cross for various kinds of assistance

Below is a collection of photos and blurbs written by Sybilla Green Dorros, an Assistant Station Manager Reserve with Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces. Sybilla was recently deployed to Afghanistan, at the Red Cross station in Bagram Air Field. She works to bring some comfort to the service members and also connect soldiers with their families during emergencies.
