Holiday Thoughts from Gail McGovern

The holiday season is a time when we’re thinking about our family and friends and we’re involved in all the frenetic activity to get them holiday presents.

I would encourage our readers to think of those who are less fortunate and those who will be struggling through this holiday season. The economy is very tough but we’ve done research that shows people still intend to be just as generous as they have in previous years, which is a testimony to how extraordinary you all are and how you stand up to help each other.

I know there are lots of causes where you can direct your resources and volunteer your time and I thank you in advance for your generosity to the American Red Cross during this Holiday season.
